I bought this for my 4 year daughter who loves to watch Franklin on Noggin. She likes to try and play her sisters game boy, but most of the games are too hard for her. This game was perfect. I had to sit with her the first couple of times untill she got the hang of each game, but can now work her way around the maze of games. Her favorite is the coloring page, but she also likes the bike race. My 6 year old enjoys playing the game as well, and has no troubles making her way around the different games. She does seem to get tired of it quicker than her sister, now that she has mastered it. I think most children learning to play video games would enjoy this game. It is easy enough for a 3-4 year old, and has enough different games to entertain a 5-6 year old.
My daughter just turned 5 and she has been wanting a Game boy. I recently purchased a GB advance and also bought Franklin the turtle game. I am very pleased with the game. I like the fact that it has a bunch of mini games on it. It allows her to have a variety of fun games to play. It is a good way to keep them from getting bored with just one type of gameplay. The controls are very simple to use and my 5 year old learned in a day how to play them. There are only a handful of Early Childhood rated Game Boy advance games and this is one of the best ones I have purchased so far.
My children still remember Franklin when it use to air frequently on Nickjr. Personally I believe this GBA game is rare. It is playing great. The box was still intact and the booklet and game itself was unmarked. I was excited to have found a cartoon character that my children still very much enjoy. This was the first time I had ever seen a Franklin GBA game. It will be well taken care of for many more hours of play.
This game was great for my three year old. She was very happy with the characters and could understand what she was supposed to do on the game. My older daughter was bored with it, but is still willing to play it with her younger sister.
My Granddaughter absolutely loves this game! Based on a wonderful Children's show, she has to think things through and apply previous levels' knowledge to harder levels. This game will make your Pre~K or early elementary child think, concentrate and will immensely help eye ~ hand coordination. GREAT GAME that this Grandma HIGHLY RECOMMENDS for something FUN as well as Educational!
